Middle School Learning Support Teacher Aide

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Teacher Aide to join our Middle School Learning Support Services team on a part-time basis for the 2026 school year. This position is ideal for an individual passionate about supporting diverse learners to thrive socially, emotionally and academically.

About the Role

The Learning Support Teacher Aide works collaboratively to support students with a wide range of learning, social and emotional needs. This role is ideal for someone who is student-focused, flexible and passionate about inclusive education.

Commencing immediately | 2026 contract | 30 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively as a member of Middle School Learning Support Servies team to support students with complex social, emotional and learning needs in years 7-9.
  • Implement specific skill-based intervention programs, including academic, social and emotional skill development.
  • Provide targeted and explicit support for key curriculum tasks.
  • Work with year level teachers to support differentiation and classroom adjustments.
  • Demonstrate effective use of technology to enhance student learning and support administrative processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of learning support provision for NCCD requirements.

You will bring:

  • A Certificate IV in Educational Support.
  • Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • A strong commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing.
  • The ability to build positive, respectful relationships with students, staff and families.
  • Well-developed communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
  • Confidence using technology to support learning and administrative tasks.
