We are seeking a School Chaplain to provide spiritual, pastoral and faith leadership across our vibrant Pre Prep to Year 12 community. This role sits at the heart of school life, providing leadership of our Faith and Service Team while fostering an Anglican identity that is visible, relevant and deeply connected to the everyday experiences of young people.
As we celebrate our 40th anniversary in 2026 and continue to deliver our strategic vision, Blueprint 2026+, we are looking for a Chaplain who can bring faith to life in meaningful, contemporary and engaging ways.
Reporting to the Principal the School Chaplain will play a central role in shaping the spiritual life of the School through engaging chapel services, meaningful pastoral care, student faith formation and community connection.
Working closely with students, staff, families and the local Anglican parish, the School Chaplain will help bring the School's Anglican identity to life in a contemporary, authentic and relevant way, inspiring young people to explore faith, purpose and service in their everyday lives.
About You
The successful applicant will be a person of authentic Christian faith who is passionate about supporting the spiritual growth and wellbeing of young people. You will be an engaging communicator and relationship-builder, with the ability to lead worship, provide pastoral care and bring faith to life in a way that is relevant and meaningful for today's students.
You will bring
- Experience in Christian ministry, chaplaincy, pastoral care or faith formation.
- The ability to lead engaging worship and communicate faith in a contemporary and authentic way.
- The ability to build trusted relationships across a school community.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, students and families.
- Excellent pastoral judgement, emotional intelligence and resilience.
- A commitment to the Anglican ethos, child safety and student wellbeing.
